I installed Leopard (10.5) of Mac OS X over the weekend. Initially, the installer wouldn’t recognize the internal Harddrive. Rene started shaking the Notebook and all of a sudden the install started working -:). Well, looks like he has some magic hands…. After that the install was a breeze. It took about an hour for the install to complete.

After a long break, I started climbing again two months ago at my favorite indoor climbing gym – Planet Granite – Belmont. I was surprised how fast I was able to climb at the 5.10 level again. I expected it to take me many months, but I regularly climb 5.10a, 5.10b and last night even a 5.10c.
Climbing is a real joy to me. I’m able to focus on the routes very easily – all stress is gone within seconds -:). Plus, it seams thanks to skiing and other balanced based sports, being able to balance well comes naturally to me.
I’m glad to be back into climbing!

I spend most of last sunday to build my personal booklist. I’m using bookpedia. This program let’s you search books on different online bookstores (such as amazon). Since I read lots of books in german, I specially like the option to be able search german databases as well.
Now, I have to figure out how I can make VNP not change the hostname on my MAC.
According to ‘Are you artistic or logic’, I’m a right-brain-person. I was quite surprised by this result, since I don’t think I have any artistic / creative talent. Some of the other characteristics described at web-us seem to fit me.
