My name is Henriette Fux. I grew up in St.Niklaus, Switzerland – a small town in the heart of the Swiss Alps. After living in Bern (the capital of Switzerland) for a few years, I moved to Silicon Valley in 2001 to work for Oracle.

Henriette Fux is my official name. Family and friends call me Ariette Fux.

I live in Palo Alto, California with Rene, who is also a software professional.

The center of the panorama picture on top of every page is the Bietschhorn, which can be prominently seen from the house I grew up.
